WHO ARE WE?
Holt Pre-school is a community pre-school which opened in 1967 and has successfully operated in the village for over 50 years. We have an Ofsted rating of "Outstanding".

Holt Pre-school offers term-time childcare for up to 28 children and provides a safe and supportive learning environment for children in the community from the age of 2 yrs until they start school.
OUR VISION
Our vision for future development is to continue to offer a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment which is open and inclusive to all children within the community and which supports children’s individual needs and allows freedom of choice and growth.
LOCATION
Our new building was constructed in 2025 and is located within the grounds of Holt V.C Primary School.

Holt Pre-school is part of the Bristol Standards Scheme which is a self evaluation framework that supports us in developing and improving the quality and effectiveness of our childcare provision.
We are regularly assessed to ensure continuous quality.
We regularly visit The Courts National Trust gardens as part of the Forest Schools programme.
We have a lovely outdoor area and a mud kitchen. We are also very lucky to be able to make use of Holt V.C Primary School's spacious grounds and play equipment.
